This new build house has a rich historical link with The Homewood, originally designed in 1939 reflecting the Bauhaus style and part of Britain's Modern Movement. Sited within a heavily contoured landscape, the ground floor plan uses 3 intersecting octagons to form its shape with a large basement level naturally lit from full height glazed walls. Whilst Primarily open plan, fair-faced concrete and Carrara marble is used to signify heavy structural materials, while white washed delicate walls with contrasting English Oak wooden floors, make up the remaining structure.
