Regarding local sport`s history in Esfarayen, it needs a
standard sports hall for indoor games that meets the standards to have enough
features for training programs, tournaments and short term sports camps. This set
of functions should be equipped with common minimum standard of facilities and
utilities.

This sport hall with a capacity of 2000 spectators includes
a standard court for futsal and basketball, supporting facilities for
spectators and players, and accommodation for two separate groups. The amorphous
site of the project is located on a hill overlooking to city. Because of
limited dimensions og the site, the external edge of building and external edge
of sport hall considered the same. And all supporting facilities were housed in
the space below seat`s level.

In design of this project it has been tried to join roof,
walls and floors to form a cohesive unit through combination of several
structural systems with additional structures and then by use of appropriate
material cover this coherent mass. The restaurant located at the entrance of
the building is constructed with similar material and methods due to this
integrity trend of design. Light steel roof`s form have been obtained from new
methods of nurbs modeling.

In addition, all land properties, shape of the sections,
functional relationships, a combination of structural systems and utility`s
system have been organized in order to achieve, integrity in shape and a
building responsive to all user`s needs.
