The new headquarters of RFF & Associados involved the architectural design and functional structuring of the law firm, based in Lisbon, at the emblematic Avenida da Liberdade.
As a basic principle, it was defined correspondence types of functions for the two workspaces' floors: the upper floor is destinated for the main reception, customers' reception, meeting rooms overlooking the Avenue and some offices' areas overlooking the Torel; on the lower floor, the remaining workspaces are distributed between open space and common offices, as well as a pantry space that communicates with a very cosy interior terrace.
In line with the branding of this firm, we chose a colours palette and materials that reflect the Office’s values, which is translated into the combination of wood, white and some details in corten steel. One of the outstanding spaces that denote this intention is, without a doubt, the reception area – curvilinear wall with white slats and ceiling with moulding for lighting effect on this covering.
As an element of “break” with the architectural line of sobriety, common to all circulation/work/meeting spaces, it was created a space for pause with a more relaxed atmosphere to promote conviviality among collaborators. In this space, the attention to design stands out due to the set of opaline lamps with an embossed ceiling, as well as the Carrara marble dining table designed by Pedro Carrilho - Arquitectos.
