Myhre Group Architects was responsible for the architectural design, Interior design and planning entitlements for this mixed-use apartment in Northwest Portland’s Pearl District. With a bold, contemporary design, the building is six stories in height and is constructed of wood framing over a concrete base; the exterior is defined by glass, concrete, metal, and wood accents. 152 market-rate rental units with high quality finishes, ground-floor commercial spaces, and a below- and at-grade parking garage are contained in 215,000 square feet; amenities include a club lounge, wine cellar, fitness room, and outdoor lounge. Completed in Spring 2010 for a cost of $23 million, Enso won a Merit award for “Residential Project of the Year – Attached Product in an Urban Setting” at the 2011 Gold Nugget Awards.
