ENGLISH ARTS AND CRAFTS
Inspired by English Arts and Crafts at the turn of the 20th century, this house is framed by an equally English inspired yet water efficient garden. Keeping with the architectural tradition, the exterior finish is pebble dash stucco with authentic "wane" wood siding, made from recycled barn timbers, and the roof is a semi-weathering slate. Interior beams and trusses are all structural, and made from a combination of recycled White Oak and Douglas Fir.
This house was made for large family gatherings, with ample Living, Dining and Family spaces, all easily connected to, and served by, the well appointed Kitchen and Butlers Pantry. Intimate family meals are had in the glassed in Breakfast room, with views of the beautiful gardens. The childrens' suite connects two bedrooms to shared study space and bath. The Master suite has his-and-hers baths and dressing rooms, large window seat and fireplace.
