The focus tried to expose textures and materials through a reductive subtraction revealing the history and inherent qualities of this space within a pre-war building. Our interest was to explore and reveal what we considered to be hidden archeological findings resulting from years of built up layers of plaster, paint, epoxies, and all other types of superficial coverings.
