Keystone Associates was retained to design a 12,000 SF science wing addition and major renovations to the District’s Southside High School. Design of the addition included implementing standardizing all high school science classrooms with the ability to teach any level of high school science work with incorporating technology. Interior renovations included gymnasium, locker rooms, existing science/biology/special education classrooms, ceilings throughout, casework, floor and hall finishes, doors and frames, mercury abatement, asbestos abatement, and accessible restrooms. HVAC /Plbg/Elec renovations including replacement of 10 roof top units and penthouses and new boilers and ice storage chiller system. Site work included running track, pavement, and curbs and sidewalks. Keystone also provided construction administration and coordinated with the construction manager.
