This LEED® Platinum and Net-Zero agricultural complex was designed to house the new sustainable agriculture program at Northeast Texas Community College in Mount Pleasant. The building was designed to be a symbol of the college’s commitment to sustainability. The solar array & wind turbine provide 100% of the power for the building, while the v-shaped roof collects rainwater for irrigation of the demonstration gardens. Exposed systems and glass-walled mechanical rooms display the building operations to students and visitors.
