Elia Blue is located in Yahşi district in Bodrum, Muğla. Total area is 55143sqf where 9 units of building is erected on 21312sqf area. The site of the project is 50 meters inland from the longest beach in Bodrum and includes pine, olive, eucalyptus, pepper trees, where beautiful combination of blue and green is provided naturally. While designing the project, the main idea was to combine local texture and modern architecture. Stone mass, which designed in respect of the traditional construction style, representing the local texture is combined with a brutal concrete shell to emphasize the collaboration of the old and new. The bearing steel column which used to support the concrete shell, also became an aesthetic addition to the design. Each unit consists two separate dwellings, one in the ground and another in the 1st floor. Each flat is 968 sqf including an open plan kitchen-living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 ensuit bathroom and terrace/balcony. Use of natural materials, minimal design features and the openings, bring a wide, fresh and dynamic feeling in the interior.
