Functional Elegance for a Global Footprint
Elesa+Ganter, an Indo-European joint venture combining Italian design expertise with German engineering excellence, is recognised for manufacturing precision machine components for a diverse range of global industries. With a presence in over 70 countries, its India headquarters in Noida often welcomes an international clientele, demanding an office space that feels as refined and intentional as the brand itself.
Designed by Resaiki Interiors and Architecture Design Studio, Elesa+Ganter’s reimagined office in Noida bridges efficiency, identity, and understated elegance to serve both visiting international clients and a growing internal team. What was once a standard workspace has been transformed into an environment of quiet elegance, intuitive design, and culturally rooted detail.
From the outset, the brief was lucid yet ambitious: to uplift the MD’s cabin with understated refinement, carve out a dedicated product display floor, and redesign the support areas—canteen, recreation, and circulation—to feel both purposeful and elevated. Each element dances in harmony with projected growth. The display floor, for instance, was conceived as a modular, adaptive space—currently serving as a showcase for the brand’s components, with the flexibility to be transformed into a workstation floor as the team expands. Modular workstations were strategically installed to serve this dual role, allowing easy reconfiguration with minimal disruption.
The MD’s cabin reflects the client’s precision-oriented sensibilities. A deceptively simple design masks a highly detailed execution—concealed wiring, hidden charging stations, and custom detailing were all orchestrated to preserve a clean, clutter-free environment. Lighting in this space was carefully layered to serve both functional and ambient purposes: a higher lux level was used over the desk for task-based clarity, with ambient lighting employed to soften the atmosphere when work pauses and reflection begins.
The spatial choreography unfolds across two interconnected levels. Above, leadership zones are sanctuaries of clarity and calm. Below, a curated world of product display sits beside nurturing food and recreation zones. Together, they form an intuitive ecosystem, complete with clear circulation pathways that encourage interaction, discovery, and engagement.
A calm and composed material palette, featuring greys, whites, and light wooden finishes, sets the tone for the entire workspace. The design prioritises longevity and ease of maintenance, using wood-finish laminates that retain warmth while offering practical resilience over time. Each finish strikes a balance between refinement and functionality, aligning with the client’s values of precision and clarity without relying on heavy or high-maintenance materials.
One of the most distinctive features of the project is the canteen area, where the walls are adorned with framed images of Indian monuments and temples. This quiet yet powerful gesture anchors the office in its cultural context and reflects the client’s desire to celebrate Indian heritage within a globally attuned workspace.
Elesa+Ganter’s new office is a testament to Resaiki’s philosophy of holistic, sensory-driven design. It’s a space where efficiency and elegance converge, and where every material, detail, and moment is curated for harmony. It is a space grounded in identity yet always reaching outward crafted for today, welcoming tomorrow, and rooted in the beauty of its origins.
