Using original visual and tactile stimulus (more than 150 finishes), combining Parisian chic and Milanese gloss, resorting to bold design solutions, Ekaterina managed to achieve the desired result: you get the feeling that the visitor is making an incredible journey into another reality without leaving the interior centre. And you fall in love with this reality at first sight, from the first seconds spent inside, so much this elegant space sharpens the sensory perception of beauty both around and inside you.
The interior is elegant and truly luxurious. Exclusive decor items, for example, the designer's art panels with naked silhouettes, unusual vases, and figurines of whimsical shapes, help to highlight stylistic points correctly. The choice in favor of natural materials: veneer of different types of wood, various types of marble, as well as calm and noble, nuanced and incredibly interesting shades made it possible to build, or rather “write” an incomparable story in which the interior is the protagonist. It fascinates, envelopes, and all the spectacular details, when put together, set the vibe, mood, and atmosphere – you want to stay in this space as long as possible.
Rigorous work in selecting materials, finishes, colours and lighting helped to pursue the idea of the two-part space as an incredible journey.
Each sheet of veneer was selected by hand, and the dyestuff test paper sheets were created so that the shades hit the target exactly. The samples were remade several times, the smallest nuances were adjusted to the ideal so that it would fully correspond to the plan. As a result, all finishes and literally every element used interacts with each other - this is how a single orchestra sounds under the baton of a talented conductor.
The leading role in this space is assigned to natural stones and natural materials, for example, the work surface is made of Arabescato Orobico Rosso marble (Italy), the table is made of Verde Antique marble (Spain), and the countertop and aprons are made of Viscount White granite (India). This is the first project of Ekaterina Elizarova, in which priority is given to cooperation with local craftsmen and manufacturers.
“In fact, this project is an impression that reflects my understanding of design, perception of shapes and colour palette. In other words, being in this space, a person enters my world and is inspired by it. The combination of many shades and textures: gloss, semi-matt smooth and ribbed surfaces, cold stone and warm silk create a sensation at the fingertips, and then the real magic unfolds."
Design is not only about beauty, functionality, and convenience. It is a vast concept, first of all about the feelings that a person experiences, about the influence that a harmonious and comfortable environment has on him, about how his nature is revealed, how an esthete and a real researcher wakes up inside him, ready for new knowledge and vivid impressions.
The showroom of Derebas furniture factory is a reference project that demonstrates the timeless interior, because even in the technical opening mode, literally in a matter of days, this space has become a symbol of modern design and won many hearts with its concept, internal content, and impeccable execution. People come here to be inspired, to experience aesthetic delight and, of course, to fall in love… with a real work of design art. With the same purpose people visit the best museums and exhibitions around the world. So those who are not afraid of deep meanings and are open to amazing metamorphoses turn into true connoisseurs of beauty, elegance, and sophisticated style.
