Eight South Lane is located in the vibrant district of Sai Wan. It combines a total of 95 apartments. The design incorporates a grid system that gives the building a sleek, modern and powerful outlook. The aim was to give clarity and hierarchy to the whole design. The materials of the façade are organized in layers and each of those materials express their own characteristics. As we get deeper into the building there is a sense of movement. There is a logical progression from a material that is cold to a material that is warm, from a material that is sleek to a material that is raw and from something industrial to something more natural.
