The multi-family building is located in a property for residential buildings located between the mouth of the River Ave and the Atlantic Ocean . It is in the expansion area of the city of Vila do Conde and includes 29 units. Is formally divided into two parts with a general property occupied by commercial spaces and housing. Due to the proximity to the sea, it was necessary to use materials with little maintenance and higher resistance. So we opted for the use of national white bush-hammered marble and black lacquered panel rib. The chromatic choice fell on neutrals. In the façades we created asymmetrical spans in a formal game with balconies in a constant mismatch in order to cut to the horizontality that the property assumes. This rhythm is broken by large vertical black spots that is not more than the technical areas of the apartments. On the top floor the façade was covered with black lacquered corrugated panels as a way to finish off the building. Because the developer is a promoter averse to "architectural" risk, we created a building more "silent" but with a powerful enough punch from a commercial point of The building's main front is facing north and the façade is facing south towards the entrance to the parks. With this, we used a different rhythmic pattern, a graphical composite with windows and balconies placed in a random order, in continuation of the main façade.
