The design of this Eco-Hotel in the desert of New-Mexico is inspired by the geometry of spiral galaxies and the ancient cave dwellings of Matmata, Tunisia (used as Luke Skywalker’s home in the movie Star Wars). Its swirling movement shapes both the landscape and the iconic roof pointing to the sky. This is a resort for contemporary Bedouins looking for an oasis in the desert, an eco-friendly retreat to relax and stargaze. The 10 troglodytic suites are arranged around a central open lounge offering a cool and humid climate created by the tall slender zinc roof and the waterfalls around its edges. In the centre is a grill for warm dinners cooked in front of the guests by a high-profile chef. Each room is accessed by a private corridor dug inside the landscape, providing a complete privacy and a magical experience. More soon.
