Captivating midtown and central park views sweep across three sides of
this modern midtown apartment. To compliment this panorama, workshop
created a gallery-like atmosphere that highlights the owner’s
significant and varied art collection – pulling a viewer toward a piece
of art then pushing them out to the view beyond. A strong collaboration
with the owners led to materials that envelope the space and look like
art pieces themselves, including sculpted and heavily textured accents
in each room. The play of natural light on these materials brings the
walls, floors, and architectural details to life. In a constantly
changing way.
