This project develops a 145-bed prototype residence hall complex. The intent is to replace existing housing with the prototype as funding allows. The units are a mix of singles and doubles that serve students of all classes. The common areas have been carefully placed to foster community, and a series of courtyards have been created to house both organized and informal gatherings. The site was chosen to help frame the emerging campus green. The exterior design responds to the existing campus character and the environment in which it sits.
