Designed by Dimitris Polychroniadis as project architect for 'Stirixis, the retail experts'. The store was created in an
pre-existing warehouse therefore we maintained an industial feel to it.
A principal element to this design is a central axis that runs from the
entrance and disects the whole of the space. Along this axis were
organized, customer circulation, info points, on line services,
grapchics and air conditioning. The reception area has been given a
'decontructed' geometry, with bright red and grey elements that mark
the brand identity of the store and guide the customer to a pre-decided
but fluid root.
At the end of this root, as customers are directed towards the
reception area they are presented with an inviting wide staicase that
leads them to the rest. & coffee area. After taking this stairs
they come across a panoramic view of the whole space. Here they can
relax.
