The clients for this home requested an expansion to fit seamlessly with the existing house so as not to be an obvious addition. The new spaces include a kitchen open to both living and dining rooms with easy access and transparency to the pool and backyard, a master bedroom suite with a sitting area, a dressing room, and a large master bath constructed of materials evocative of water in its varied states, an expression of the beach and ocean community. Windows have been positioned for views of the woods and a landscaped Japanese garden was created outside the master bath.
