Design
of a new 3-story building with (15) fifteen 1 and 2 bedroom affordable rental
units. Amenities include laundry room,
bike room and parking garage. The units
are laid out to provide cross-ventilation through corner windows. Greenfinancing and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) low-rise
multi-family performance program are being used to implement an energy
reduction plan and the use of cost-effective construction measures. This includes Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF)
in lieu of CMU bearing walls.
