Our firm was selected to design the $58 million Regional Headquarters for Durham Region. The project includes administrative offices for the Region, a Court House, a Council Chamber and a cafeteria along with numerous meeting rooms and computer training labs. The project is focused around a central atrium space which links all of the program elements together in a central gathering space. The POA Courthouse is housed in a separate wing which has direct access off of the Galleria. The Judges’ offices are located on a second floor with direct access to a corridor which gives them discrete access to the six Courthouses, separate from the public and accused access locations.
