A Duplex-Penthouse apartment which has a relatively narrow space of 120 sq/m (with an 80 sq/m balconies), in a 6-story building in Givatayim. Israel. Originally had 5 problematic rooms, due to its structure. The plan was outdated and not suited to customer needs so many changes had to be made in order to design it idealy. The main requirement was to design a warm and pleasant apartment for the residents. Due to the limitations of the original design, we decided to renovate the whole apartment and its infrastructure and change the distribution of rooms.
Renovation process was long but fun and exciting, especially since the couple were open to my ideas and had some original thinking of their own. The Open relationship with the clients, the total trust and freedom they gave me as a professional allowed me to design them the apartment of their dreams. The most amazing thing is that at the end of this process we had residential space that fits exactly the needs of the clients. The process itself is complex, interesting, long, sometimes exhausting but always worthwhile and exciting
