A selection of my best work from drawing freehand architectural drawing classes at taught by Doug Cooper in my first, second and third semesters of architecture school at Carnegie Mellon University. We covered the following approaches: contour drawing, figure-ground reversal, "subtractive" space to convey mass, tonal/light temperature color drawing, and freehand constructed perspective drawing. We worked in conté crayon, charcoal, pencil, and patels on newsprint, bond, and gray toned paper.
