This is a project never before done by anyone on Avery Media of Wall
Graphics in the world*. We have taken up this project and analyzed all the
possibilities we could use to enhance the look of a school (from a typical
school types). The analysis and selection of media took 25 days. It all began
with a thought of wrapping up the main ceiling of the school with the sky. Kids
are always fascinated by flying objects and clear blue sky. The elements that
were taken during the concept creation were not changed till the end. We took
up all the elements starting from 3d birds, Jennie from the Alladin Fame, and
various pictorial that would appeal to the kids. The ceiling dimensions are as
foll 35’ (breadth) x 110’(length). The ceiling was at the height of 16 sq.ft from
the ground. Complete installation took us 25 days and 10 labours, totaling of
450 hrs of labour!!. There were pillars in between which were ignored
us in start, but to give a look of an actual sky we had to consider wrapping
them up as well. If seen properly, the pillars on ceiling have a continuation
of design, not affecting the equilibrium of the design. Another concept we developed was putting up an
actual solar system, in real!! The background was used Glow in Dark Vinyl, which
can glow upto 2 hrs in complete darkness and all the planets being put up made
of acrylic. The sun is having a diameter of 5 ft !! Rest all the planets are
made in proportion with the sun as seen in actual solar system. The ceiling of
solar system is 1300 sq.ft. Being an IB school, it even has a swimming pool.
The side walls of the swimming pool have been enhanced with sun boards which
has high resolution images of under water world. The office of college, none of the colleges across
has an office like this! All the glass doors have been utilized in order to
make office look more thematic and appealing, giving vivid concepts across
different cabins. All the one way vision have been printed using double layered
one way with UV technology. The benches of this college have been customized
to a level which no one would have imagined. All the top side of benches have
individual images of either a scientist, or a poet or even from the
personalities who have shaped the 20th Century. Since we print directly on any
substrate, we were able to provide 900 different benches giving description
about birth date, work etc, which would be useful for a student when he writes
on it
