Downtown pub
Downtown Pub, Bangalore is slated for a makeover. With a brief to bring an English/Irish pub look and feel to the décor, we designed the spacious area to display concrete on the floor and ceiling, showcasing characteristics of true hickory. To give a delicate but bold highlight to the design, variations of gold are woven through the flooring in the form of metal inlay and through the ceiling with an elegantly designed Celtic pattern. A magnificent bar with a combination of high gloss veneer, black marquina top with a touch of brass, and a backlit panel is the focal point of the pub. Outdoor seating has been designed to make the most of the greenery in the space. A water feature surrounded with carefully curated plants around the boundary wall is another way for the design to bring nature to its patrons. The entire pub has a ceiling with wooden cladded beams and a wooden cornice running around the columns to bring the heart of England to Bangalore.
