Double Vision is a proposal for a temporary sunglass store in a double wide shipping container. It exemplifies the mixture of two visions of the brand – contemporary and retro – into the store. A central dividing wall separates the store into two environments – one black/white and the other colored. The display cases are the pure geometric abstraction of sunglass lenses – ie. a circle – and are attached to the center wall. These lenses are then proliferated to cover the central division and backlit to maximize their effect and create an environment filled with colors and shadows that emulates the brand.
