recreational components. Amenities include a resort-style pool and tennis
courts. The development’s extensive outdoor space will include landscaping that
will rely on indigenous plants. The hotel itself features a unique open lobby
that allows for the outdoor and the indoor to be a continuous experience.
Sustainable and green principles were applied throughout the design of the
project. The contemporary design of the hotel responds to the local conditions
while at the same time projecting a progressive image for the country of
Cameroon. The project’s layout, glazing, landscape and hardscape are all
inspired by local artwork patterns. Once constructed, this complex will be the
largest hotel in Cameroon.
