The building is situated in a residential area conformed by a low density knitting outside Buenos Aires city, in a site between shared walls. The housing is articulated around a central courtyard, the spatial structure puts in a coincidence this with the double height living room, giving a privileged orientation with views towards the two gardens around the house. This strategy results in visual connections and spaces between the different environments where the domestic life is developed. The ground floor has these spaces designated to life in the community, the study, the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen. Upstairs are the more private spaces. A corridor that crosses the large volume of the living room connects the main bedroom and the terrace with the children's bedrooms. The windows and the circulations are arranged with the objective of setting transparencies and connections with the exterior. The project addresses the issue of the courtyard, the emptiness produces a movement that essentially belongs to the architectural reasons. It is an active emptiness, intersected by the light, an emptiness to delicately give organized tension.
