In the heart of urban San Francisco, a multi-functional loft transforms a small condo into a dynamic space. In collaboration with Peter Suen, this project was custom designed and pre-fabricated to combine a guest bed, dinning room, full-sized closets, spacious bedroom, and flexible work area into one compact loft. Thin glass-fiber reinforced precast concrete panel were arrayed like dominos with glass and wood spanning between. The entire loft was fabricated in DEKA's workshop in Oakland then reassembled on-site as a kit of parts.
