Materiality reveals in contrast of dark and cold, internal and external, different play of glowing from inside wood, and a dull, uniform in design, cover of anthracite color.
SHAPE - a concise answer to a complex urban setting. Dull walls of facades from north to south are becoming transparent. It opens showroom enviroment from the street side as well as interiors made by laminated wood. In case of this "smearing" of facades - Building becomes light, begins to "float" over the area and at the same time dissolving a mist, pulling the viewer's attention, carrying him.
STRUCTURE - carcass glued frame "timberframe" with a filling of laminated veneer lumber, supporting of the floor space platforms of laminated beams, placed above the roofs of existing structures. Steel links used to connect the frame, are increasing the effect of "dissolution" of the building space. There are frameless windows, fixed inside the carcass under the metal shell. Automatically controlled, sun-blinds made from laminated veneer lumber on the southern facade deviding office area and an outdoor terrace - the culmination of the building, - platform, opening views to the industrial landscape ARTPLAY
