Chelsea Atelier Architects is expanding the production facilities for the internationally renowned catering company Do&Co. Specializing in high-end in-flight meals for the world’s best airlines, Do&Co’s clients include Emirates, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Air France. Located near John F. Kennedy airport in Queens, New York the existing site requires CAA to balance the company’s requirements of smart and efficient space with a bold design to refresh the building and add new space for food production and a short stay hotel. The project involves doubling the current onsite production facilities, below grade parking, adding an employee lounge, and renovating existing offices and updating the existing facade.
