Divergente is a complex of 32 lofts located at the boundary between Puebla and Cholula.
Communal living is proposed through each loft’s peripheral organization of the plot, creating a common inner garden for the various everyday open-air activities. At the center of this garden emerges the amenity center, which plays with gradients for a greater visual attraction, supported by the integrated vegetation that unites the different indoor areas with each of the lofts.
The design concept for each of the lofts was the connection between the spaces and the green areas, playing with the indoor gradients that visually frame and render spaces with more openness, leaving a vehicle circuit at the perimeter.
Three types of prototypes were carried out, consisting of one, two and three levels. In all of them, future growth is contemplated. The combination of the concrete, corten and crystal materials provide harmony and strength, resulting in a housing unique in its design and constitution.
