Diplomat Hotel
The project consists on the development of an Hotel, category 4 stars, with 100 bedroom units.
The start program was developed thinking about a typology which was capable of answer the municipality needs. The central town placement, with privileged access to the main national roads and highways, along with the integration in one of the city’s most important commercial and industrial polygons, were the key to design the new hotel building as a business centre.
The building rises in the shape of a parallelepiped, perpendicular to the main access road. It's composed by six floors (basement, ground floor, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor). The basement, with access by a side road, occupies most of the lot’s area and serves as base for the construction. The ground floor, with direct access to the main street develops in “L” and establishes the boundaries between public and private areas. The other floors, dedicated to the bedroom area, define the main building’s volume.
