Dioskouri café-restaurant is an iconic coffee and mezé place in the old center of Athens. After 30 years of presence in Adrianou pedestrian street it has become a part of the old city. The new interior needed a fresh design approach, but without losing its typical Greek tavern atmosphere.
The main features of the project are the straw woven bar panels, that derive from the classic tavern's chair and the pale blue metallic construction. The bar, the wine cabinet and the ceiling lighting was custom-made with local craftsmen on site.
