Dining Hall at University of Idaho, McCall Field Campus
McCall, ID | Education, Regenerative Design
McLennan Design was selected to design Idaho’s first Living Building Challenge–certified structure at the McCall Field Campus, creating a regenerative, all-electric dining hall that serves as the functional and symbolic heart of the outdoor science school. Nestled within Ponderosa State Park, the building preserves the surrounding forest, integrates climate-resilient systems, and embodies stewardship, ecological education, and community connection. By designing architecture that teaches through its own performance, the dining hall sets a new standard for regenerative educational facilities.
