1. To strengthen the existing form, Digital Flux mimics a free from wave in its entirety while also reinforcing the concept in the facade's pattern. The façade utilizes DuPont Corian exterior white panels while the existing glass wall will be replaced with DuPont Sentry glass curtain wall system and is accented with a LED lighting system. The new skin will be structurally supported by a stainless steel space frame system. These new materials will help achieve a contemporary striking Image of the film, art and architecture for the digital era.
2. A large digital television screen is incorporated as a focal point of the building. As it will be used for film festival announcements and film advertisements. This feature will also eliminate visual pollution and clutter of the existing building.
3. The main front plaza will be widened and a DuPont Sentry glass floor fountain will be added to the elevated plaza to not only provide natural light to the cross street below but to
provide the plaza festive atmosphere.
4. In approaching the theater from the park, escalators and a covered glass canopy are designed to add a new dimension to the plaza and a balance with the main building.
