Film Tree is a cutting-edge research and development based production, post-production
and consulting environment. DFT retained COMPOS/IT/E to design and develop a
new theater space to fulfill a diverse set of requirements. The concept for the
project was centered around portraying the philosophy/methodology of DFT
through spatial design and materials to extend the overall functionality of
facility by creating a multi-purpose, adaptable space utilizing faceted forms, dynamic
lighting and environmentally-conscious materials. The space houses a
projector/screen setup, digital workstations, machine room, adaptable furniture
and theater seating so as to accommodate functions of post production,
screenings, meetings and entertaining.
