The project is the total transformation of an existing commercial space into an insurance broker office. The space is strongly characterized by its square proportion and façade openings with direct sunlight from three sides with two independent accesses. The office program is divided in three groups, public spaces, private office and support areas.
The main access allows the clients to enter to the waiting room and client support desks. On the opposite side there’s an independent access to the staff room, meeting room and manager private office. The circulation and distribution of the office is organised around a central core where the washrooms and archive cabinets are located.
The spaces are strongly characterized by the use of black panels combined with oak blades that arrange, divide and organize the several spaces. The design of these elements will change according to the level of privacy needed in each space. Sound buffers are applied in the ceiling in order to control the noise and also to introduce a lower and more comfortable ceiling height.
