Dierre Srl is leader in the trading of products for cleaning experts since 1984 to nowadays, by a family run business now in its second generation.
It’s not an open space, not even a sequence of offices but it’s an hybrid ensemble where every space is precisely sized to carry a specific activity out: this activity become a parameter that might define small but full areas – two or more users- alternated to others more comfortable, for one person only.
We thought to move the full–height big closets to the center of the design area, determining at the same time a distributive way and to allow to free the lateral views up.
These fitted wings are strategically arranged to be able to be used at the same time from many people: they don’t determine any sequence, but they are simply a recognizable technical element in a succession of open spaces, glazed partitions and fragmented interior walls.
Others woody walls introduce an unexpected random rhythm, both a figurative aspect and material too.
The walnut and the messy horizontal weave infuse a domestic warmth, distinguishing two typical places of aggregation in an office: the copy and the automatic machine area.
The contemporary work environment is a synergy between spaces , matter, acoustics and .. light!
We refuse all that we don’t like about typical office light: cold hue, refractions, casual reflections and homogeneity.
That we have obtained is an hybrid lighting , typologically miscellaneous, in public spaces diffused, on a workstation spotted, that amplify the best parts of the project: hue is warm, the light wash walls instead of dropping off, solving the problem of reflex on the shiny marble floor.
