Dickson Farmstand is an artesian meat market and butter located in the Chelsea Market in the heart of one of the more popular NYC districts.
The space was designed to flow seamlessly with the existing market concourse and utilize the existing conditions to make the space work. The storefront design created a precedent for future stores to forego the typical aluminum storefront and accommodate a more unique system that better integrates the concourse with the spaces use. The space not only accommodate seating at the concourse and aa display section of the delicacies but also has a full (although compact) commercial kitchen in the rear for a host of prepared food a recipes.
