To materialize the figures of car racing in the architectural design plan, the design team applies the conceptual elements about racing, of which the R-style facade symbolizes the picture of racing tracks that have been the essential ideas constructing the entire building.
It is difficult in conforming the 6-meter-height building to the curvature of the letter R. The magnificent large wooden entrance, of which the double acting door signals the auto rims spinning, and the door handle resembles the customized car wheels genuinely promoted by the company.
For the client as the global company, the designer expects that the native cultures of Taiwan applied in the design plan have a positive impact on the international reputation of Taiwan. The material of architectural appearance is exposed concrete. Meanwhile, the sufficient sunlight sprinkling through the window reinforce the quality of the entire building. Comprising of the elementary factors sun, air, water, etc. the architectural design puts an emphasis on the surrounding environment.
In the exhibition hall, the big wall decorated with event chronicles displays the wheels manufacturing progress including the crafts, prototypes, finished products, etc. which effectively explain to the public the expertise about car rims. Furthermore, the glass wall showing the alluring racing tracks, which make apparent the noble position of the Nurburgring racing.
The large indoor space manifests the atmosphere of flight hangar, in which the pillar-free structure explains the exceptional construction skills. Replicating the grand spirit of Nurburgring racing, the company commits to producing one-of-a-kind commodities.
