Designing in Teheran B - COTTONE+INDELICATO ARCHITECTS
Type
A dynamic building in synergy with the dynamic fluxes of the city.
The project consists in three volumes shifted in their longitudinal direction, consequence of the tension generated by the interposition of the Hammat highway to the north-south fluxes of Vali Asr Avenue.
The idea is to make the building play together with the dynamic fluxes of the street.
It is light and dynamic, it is made in glass with a steel structure, it is covered by a metallic skin based on Arab ornamental drawing that gives a contemporary identity to the building and protects it from insulation and dazzle effect of the sun.
The three pure volumes respond to the program and to the different floor plan sqm. requested by the competition brief.
