Architecture 2630: Design Workshop is an undergraduate design studio
and a prerequisite for the undergraduate Architectural Studies program at the
University of Utah. On a 3-year Teaching Fellowship and following 1 semester as
a Teaching Assistant, I taught 5 semesters of this course while pursuing my graduate
degree. The course introduces students to the design process with a series a
problems that explore concepts such as materiality, massing, figure-ground,
graphic representation, and 2D|3D translations.
