Renovation of the flagship store in Soho required the extension of the existing 3,500sf ground floor retail space into the basement to provide a new 9,000sf store. In order to unify both floors as one retail space, we located a monumental stair in the middle of the store. Further visual connection between two floors is provided by a reflective, sculptural ceiling. The store provides the new concept and fixtures designed by our studio; room vignettes, lighting cloud, swatch wall, lighting gallery and feature display platforms. Feature display platforms and lighting cloud start at the entrance and lead customers into the store. Koray Duman was Partner in charge of the project at Sayigh+Duman Architects.
