Lima, located by the sea, is defined by the Costa Verde. This urban space is one of the public places most visited by the citizens. In addition, the green landscape of the cliffs in the Miraflores district is internationally renowned.
In this context, the Design Miraflores project is a residential building located in the heart of city life in Miraflores, a district already known for being a cultural, commercial and financial hub, where the Peruvian gastronomic experience and the practices of surfing, cycling and paragliding all coexist harmoniously.
The 17-story building was designed by the architecture and design team of Imagina Arquitectos. It was built on a corner lot facing the sea and a quiet street. The purposeful breaks in the façade seek to mirror the movement of the sea. The surrounding landscape is the main protagonist of the building’s story. That is why it was paramount to ensure that all the main spaces of each apartment had a view to the ocean. The terraces form the crossroads between the living space and the fresh sea breeze — and of course the sunset.
It was an important challenge to surpass the design requirements expected by the client. Therefore, the architecture team made sure to consider nothing but the highest quality and design standards. The project has four types of housing on its standard floors up to the 11th floor and three types on the upper floors. Especially noteworthy are the large layouts and the ample spaciousness of the living rooms.
The building has an exterior landscaping design and a large lobby that maintain a direct relationship with the pedestrian view from the street. In addition, the interior has different social areas on the ground floor for the resident’s use, designed with a high attention to both materials and architectural detail.
