Design Against the Elements is a global architectural design competition meant to find a solution to the problems presented by climate change. The concept of our project is forming habitation round the public center, the place of an attraction of people, trade, rest and work. We create habitation continuously functioning, despite the various difficulties caused by acts of nature. Such inhabited cells can be created in various parts of region and expand in all directions at the expense of formation of apartment houses round the centers on the basis of the strong inhabited module. The new typology of residential development is more comfortable, reliable and environment-friendly than the existing one. These types of construction enable us to reduce the percentage of deaths in case of natural disasters, reduce expenses on restoring buildings and improve living conditions.
