What we want to build is a pure, sturdy and eternal place, like a diamond.
To show our respect to nature, we hide the architecture among sand. When the soft curves of the sand dunes meet the sharp geometric motifs of the architecture, a subtly dramatic effect is created. This embodies three characteristics of the profound ancient Chinese philosophy of "Yin and Yang" — unity, opposition, and transformation. The hotel serves as a medium that connects "people" and "nature."
The core of the entire design is to incorporate the desert scenery to the ultimate extent. Due to the converging irregular sections, people in it feel a kind of hugging protection in the center of energy.
The white surface can best bring out the color of the sky, making the light a second skin to the architecture. At night, the starry lights on the building's facade can twinkle like a heartbeat, to echo the brilliant galaxy.
The hotel features 30 guest rooms. Each guestroom is equipped with an independent terrace and bubble pool. The hotel lobby on the second floor providing breathtaking views of the sand sea oasis and the Star Hall. The all-day dining restaurant on the ground floor is always ready to greet the first rays of sunlight in the desert. The Star Hall serves as the spiritual heart and visual centerpiece of the hotel. It provides a tranquil environment for healing and relaxation, with a design that offers flexible usage options.
The Diamond Hotel's design made a remarkable debut, showcasing excellence and refinement. Its final outcome surpassed expectations, winning extensive praise from guests. Since opening, the hotel has hosted over 20 corporate events like promotions, roadshows and conferences, as well as 10 events including TV programs, weddings, fashion shows and wellness activities. As the top luxury brand in China's desert tourism, the Desert Diamond Hotel keeps setting industry benchmarks and leading the way.
