The Eliseos project is an apartment designed by Grupo Arquitectura in a space of 150 m2 where the previous construction was completely demolished.
One of the objectives of the project was to potentiate the pre-existing benefits of the residence, such as the 15-meter free front to the main street, which allows a direct connection between the terrace and the rest of the apartment with gates that run entirely side to side, turning the entire interior space into exterior when desired.
The fundamental concept of the Elíseos apartment is to have a large main area where all spaces coexist directly and without divisions. The kitchen that functions as the heart of the apartment has the dining room table fused, which with push of a button and through a mechanical system changes its elevation to the height of a traditional dining room, at the height of the kitchen bar thus extending the island throughout the space, or at the height of a bar. The dining room in turn has in the center of the table with accessories and tools, such as an integrated teppanyaki griddle, to be able to cook from anywhere in it. The dining room is illuminated by Marset PleatBox lamps, in different ceramic shades, designed by Xavier Mañosa and Mashallah.
The kitchen designed hand in hand by Olimpic has two panel finishes, glossy gray and matt black. The material selected for the roof is Cheyenne granite.
As the kitchen is fully open, all appliances and utensils are paneled.
The dining room chairs are Isabel chairs by Flexform, designed by Carlo Colombo in a gray leather finish.
The entire open area is ordered by a large volume of Lilac marble, placed on a bookmatch. The close part of the volume works as a reception at the entrance to the residence, it rotates 90 degrees and a recess appears that houses the counter bar of the bar and the cellar. The Lilac piece unfolds to the front to become the bar counter, later it turns and houses the kitchen and bathroom facilities.
The bar of the Lilac Marble bar flies over a piece of walnut where its services are hidden. The bar benches are Minotti Flynt model benches in an aubergine leather finish.
Behind the bar is the room, which is furnished with the Magnum armchair by Flexform and two Gilliam chairs by Minotti. The central table is a Nomad model Black Fantasy marble table, designed by Henge. Among the Gilliam armchairs we find a Bellagio side table from Minotti.
The room is finished off with a brass cabinet with wooden shelves and a bronze mirror bottom to give more space.
The living space has a hidden screen that lowers to convert the space into a home theater with Focal surround sound.
The main bedroom was also located overlooking the main street to take advantage of the southern lighting of the department. It is furnished with a Mamy Blue bed by Poltrona Frau in a two-tone Camel/Gray leather finish. It has a reading area furnished with an Eames Lounge Chaire & Ottoman armchair in Red leather and walnut wood finish illuminated with a Meta stone and metal lamp designed by David Pompa.
All the floors of the apartment are Chocolate Walnut and a Volakas marble was selected in the bathrooms. The general lighting of the department is from FLOS with Lutron automated system designed by hand with Puntoldt and Gtcilumination.
