The creation of atmospheres that are suitable for every space, enhancing
the harmony that integrates the entire project, is the guiding principle that
defines the project done by ARCO Arquitectura
Contemporánea for this apartment in Mexico City. Its privileged location provides,
beside the fantastic views, a pleasant surrounding suitable to integrate the
outdoors to the interior project.
From the entrance, the open spaces and generous double height of the
public areas are distinguished in an elegant and contemporary ambiance that
goes through the living room, dinette and dining room delimited by the main
corridor and the large window that separates the interior from the terrace. The
materials that stand out are wood and marble, that beside integrating to the
rest of the spaces, define the natural colors palette that highlights the
quality of the materials. In some areas some accents were marked with walls
painted in dark colors and the same effect was applied to some wood coverings
keeping the earth colors.
