Workplace stress is considered one of the leading concerns for office employees today. A suffocating work environment only intensifies the daily pressure on staff, as well as on engineers and architects. Consequently, modern young companies are placing a high priority on office design—and DB Company is no exception. We are a young team operating in the construction industry within Quy Nhon, a vibrantly developing city in Central Vietnam.
The project is situated within an urban expansion zone of Quy Nhon, aimed at significant future growth. While the rigid, cookie-cutter planning typical of new urban areas presented a challenge, we approached the design with an emphasis on open spaces. The construction utilizes a variety of raw, local materials, featuring in-situ polished concrete floors. To minimize spatial fragmentation, we employed glass block walls, glass partitions, and furniture-based zoning to alleviate the heaviness of traditional masonry. Every workspace is designed to have direct access to natural light, greenery, and cross-ventilation.
The interior follows a minimalist Industrial style, perfectly suited for a young and dynamic office. Raw concrete ceilings, combined with textured walls and a perforated metal staircase, create a vibrant and energetic environment that stimulates everyone's creativity. Glass block walls and glass partitions are interwoven throughout the spaces, allowing natural light to flow seamlessly across the entire building.
The office breathes the essence of modern professional life, blending a rugged industrial character with a deep connection to nature. It is not merely a place to work, but a 'second home'—a space that feels both intimate and dear to everyone who works here.
