The concept behind this British Colonial-inspired design was to create a “beachy”, clean-lined home that fit its owner’s casual lifestyle. The symmetrical design stresses the horizontal lines by creating oversized soffits, a 50’ + front porch, and a low pitched standing seam roof. The clients wanted to create a sense of open-flow with airy spaces, so we created a double-height great room extending into a double-height lanai. This project should be complete by the summer of 2012.
